Dear Senior Parents,
Many parents start thinking about college in their child's junior year of high school. The student's grades and extra-curricular activities will play a significant role in determining which colleges will accept them (the more options, the greater likelihood that scholarship money will be available). Such factors as basic as where you live and who you work for can impact scholarship eligibility and tuition expenses. To avoid jeopardizing the financial future of the family or prevent a student from continuing with higher education, it is important to start thinking about college as soon as possible.

Estimados Padres del Grado 12:
Muchos padres comienzan a pensar en la universidad en el tercer año de la escuela secundaria de sus hijos. Las calificaciones del estudiante y las actividades extracurriculares desempeñarán un papel importante a la hora de determinar qué universidades los aceptarán (cuantas más opciones, mayor probabilidad de que haya dinero disponible para becas). Factores tan básicos como el lugar donde vive y para quién trabaja pueden afectar la elegibilidad para becas y los gastos de matrícula.
