Jacqueline Barba D’souza was born and raised in downtown San José. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s College of California after studying Anthropology and French, and will be receiving a Master of Arts in Counseling from San José State University in the near future. Her interest in different cultures and serving others was sparked through a combination of her own childhood and significant volunteering experiences. Jacqueline credits much of her academic success, enthusiasm for her community, and eagerness to assist others to her inspirational parents; they always encouraged her and her siblings to strive higher and give back to the community. Driven by passion, Jacqueline hopes to assist youth and families by distributing educational resources and helping them establish a fruitful life in their respective communities.
